The 17th Tianjin Taiwan Investment Cooperation Fair with the theme of "Gathering Intelligence for New Development and Sharing New Opportunities" recently made its debut in Tianjin. About 350 political, business, young entrepreneurs, and grassroots representatives from both sides of the Taiwan Strait gathered in Tianjin to discuss cooperation.
Founded in 2008, the Tianjin Taiwan Association has become a high-quality platform for cross-strait industry docking and people to people exchanges for 18 years. As of now, Tianjin has approved the establishment of 2718 Taiwan funded enterprises with a total investment of over 19 billion US dollars. At the opening ceremony, guests delivered speeches centered around a key keyword - opportunity.
Peng Qingen, Deputy Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, stated that 2026 is the beginning year of the 15th Five Year Plan, and the development of the mainland provides strong impetus for cross-strait economic cooperation.
