On April 20th, Zheng Zhajie, Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, presided over a symposium for private enterprises, where she had in-depth exchanges with enterprise leaders from fields such as metal materials, new energy vehicles, industrial park services, mineral resources, and textiles, and listened face-to-face to opinions and suggestions on the current economic situation and actively responding to complex changes in the external environment.

 

This is the third private enterprise symposium held by the National Development and Reform Commission this year.

 

From the focus on expanding domestic demand and stabilizing investment on March 2nd, to the promotion of service industry capacity expansion and quality improvement on March 20th, and then to the focus on responding to complex changes in the external environment, each symposium has closely focused on the key and difficult points of private economic development. By establishing a normalized and institutionalized communication mechanism, it has conveyed a strong signal to the market to stabilize expectations, unite forces, and promote development together, injecting strong confidence into the development of the private economy.

 

Specifically, this year's first symposium focused on expanding domestic demand and stabilizing investment, inviting private entrepreneurs from fields such as automation equipment, modern seed industry, shipbuilding, and artificial intelligence to attend. These fields are not only important supports for expanding domestic demand, but also key positions for stabilizing investment, and the core direction for cultivating new quality productivity. They are precisely in line with the national development strategy and the advantages of private economy development, and directly related to the development confidence and growth potential of private enterprises.

 

In response to the opinions and suggestions put forward by enterprises at the symposium, the National Development and Reform Commission quickly responded and implemented precise policies. On April 17th, Wang Changlin, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated that the next step will be to improve the long-term mechanism for private enterprises to participate in major project construction, focusing on high growth areas such as the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and commercial aerospace. A series of policies and reform measures will be launched to promote private investment, encourage central enterprises and private enterprises to collaborate on key core technology research and development projects, and accelerate the expansion and efficiency improvement of the infrastructure REITs market.

 

These practical and implementable policy deployments not only broaden the investment space and unblock development bottlenecks for private enterprises, but also guide them to accurately align with national strategies, find their positioning and leverage their advantages in the overall situation of expanding domestic demand and stabilizing investment, and achieve resonance between their own development and national development.
